NEXRYDE (a product of AdmoblordGroup) ("we", "us", or "NEXRYDE") operates the NEXRYDE mobile application and related services. We are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains, in plain language, what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have under Nigerian law.

Quick summary: We collect only what is necessary to run a safe, reliable ride-sharing service. We do not sell your personal data. We never share your data with advertisers. You can request your data or ask us to delete your account at any time from within the app.

No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we implement industry-standard safeguards, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in significant harm to you, we will notify you and the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) within 72 hours as required by the NDPA 2023.

6. Your Rights Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023

Access Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
Correction Ask us to correct any inaccurate or incomplete data.
Deletion Request deletion of your account and personal data (subject to legal retention obligations).

Objection Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Restrict Processing Ask us to pause processing while a dispute is resolved.
Withdraw Consent Turn off consent-based features (face unlock, safety recording) from in-app Settings.

7. Location Data

Location access is essential to the ride-sharing service. The app requests foreground location during booking and in-progress rides. Background location is requested only when a driver is online and waiting for trip offers. You can adjust location permissions in your device settings, but disabling location will prevent you from booking or receiving rides.

8. Cookies and Analytics

The NEXRYDE mobile app does not use browser cookies. We use anonymised, aggregated in-app analytics to understand feature usage and improve the product. No personally identifiable information is included in analytics data.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed on servers hosted by Google Cloud (us-central1 region) and MongoDB Atlas. These providers are bound by contractual data protection obligations and comply with international data protection standards. Where data is transferred outside Nigeria, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.

10. Children's Privacy

NEXRYDE is not intended for persons under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we discover that a minor has created an account, we will delete the account and all associated data immediately. If you believe a minor is using NEXRYDE, please notify us at admin@admoblordgroup.com.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you via in-app notification or email at least 14 days before the new policy takes effect, with the version number and effective date clearly displayed. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
